How do I take advantage of this?

How the BRS process works

  Step 1:
Identify Need/Draft Customer Requirements Document

  Step 2:
Vendors Respond to CRS

  Step 3:
BRS/Customer Evaluates Vendor Responses "Best Value"

  Step 4:
Customer Sends Funding to BRS Office

  Step 5:
Award/Execute/Invoice

The LMR communications need is identified, a Customer Requirements Statement (CRS) with Source Selection Criteria is prepared, the CRS is offered to the appropriate BRS contract holders, reponses (proposals) are submitted, proposals are evaluated, and the delivery order is awarded to the selected contractor. BRS is a rapid contracting vehicle.
